Project Certification Offshore
From the design phase to dismantling - everything from a single source
For the project certification of offshore wind projects, HPC's certification program includes the complete conformity assessment of the design, construction and execution documents. The manufacturing, installation and commissioning are monitored independently so that an independent project certificate can be issued at the end of the certification process.
With its certification program, HPC completely covers both the German requirements of the BSH and the associated BSH Standard Design, as well as international certification requirements from IEC 61400-22 or its current successor, IECRE OD-502.
The performance and conformity assessment of the periodic inspections (WKP, “Wiederkehrende Prüfungen”) during the entire operating phase and the subsequent dismantling phase is also part of the work scope, which in Germany is one of the bases for maintaining the operating licence.

HPC is also involved in the further development and updating of various norms, standards and other regulations.
The company was founded in 2008 by experienced experts from the offshore wind energy sector, all of whom are committed to both the expansion of renewable energies and compliance with safety-relevant standards.
Inspection body according to GasHDrLtgV
In view of the increasing use of wind energy for the production of hydrogen, HPC has been accredited as an inspection body (type C) according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020 for high-pressure gas pipelines in accordance with the High Pressure Gas Pipelines Ordinance (GasHDrLtgV) since 2021.
This means that for all pipelines, whether onshore or offshore, preliminary (“Vorabbescheinigungen”) and final certificates (“Schlussbescheinigungen”) can be issued in accordance with the legal requirements, or inspections can be carried out during operation.
In addition, a certification of an offshore pipeline according to the current DNV service specification DNV-SE-0475 is also part of HPC's scope of services.
